Susannah Cardy

Integrative Psychotherapist & Counsellor MBACP UKCP

Welcome…

I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, registered with both the UKCP and the BACP. Above all, what I offer is a warm, safe and non-judgemental space which will allow you to speak freely about whatever is troubling you. Together we can explore and connect with your feelings, needs and desires, giving you the space to identify patterns of behaviour that might be holding you back and gather the awareness to start facilitating change in your life.

Working with me…

We all face times when we feel overwhelmed and can’t seem to find a way forward and the hardest challenge can be to reach out to seek support. You might be feeling depressed, anxious, stuck or just a bit lost. Whatever your reasons for coming to therapy, my aim is always two-fold: to offer support in difficult times and provide an inspiring space for personal exploration.

I hold a Master’s from The Minster Centre, the UK’s leading training institute for integrative psychotherapy and counselling. Working in an integrative way means I have combined relational, humanistic, psychodynamic, trauma-informed and embodied approaches into my practice.

In essence, this means that I can draw upon a range of different ways of understanding the human experience and tailor my approach to best meet the unique needs of each client. It also means I work with both your current life and relationships and your early experiences.

I am sensitive in my practice to sexual, gender, cultural and social difference and to how our backgrounds shape our sense of self.
