Rachel Lambert
Psychodynamic Counsellor MBACP
Welcome…
I am an experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor working in private practice from comfortable rooms in N4. I also offer online sessions. I hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Previously I had a career as a solicitor in Central London before entering the world of counselling.
I have a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford.
Working with me…
It can be daunting coming to meet a counsellor for the first time; what will I think of them, what will they think of me? This is completely understandable.
Counselling can be very helpful when life has dealt a blow, negative situations keep repeating themselves or you just have a sense of unease and a feeling that life could be better.
In psychodynamic work particular attention is given to gaining insights into unhelpful patterns which may have resulted from earlier experiences that are currently not serving you well. We aim for this awareness to lead to you being able to make real changes that will impact on your emotional wellbeing.
If you decide to contact me by e mail, we can arrange a brief phone call. If you would like to take it further, we can meet for two initial 50 minute sessions for you to tell me a little more about your situation and see whether we think we could work together. If so, we will arrange to meet for 50 minute sessions once a week at a regular time.
My fees are £65 per session.
