Welcome…
If you are reading this then there is likely something you wish to change about your life. One the of hardest parts of making change is acknowledging and accepting that a change is needed - You have already taken this step. The second step is finding a therapist who can support and facilitate change. As a therapist I offer clients a space, a therapeutic relationship and evidence-based tools to make significant and long-lasting changes to psychological and emotional lives.
Working with me…
I am a HCPC registered, BACP accredited Counselling Psychologist with 10 years’ experience of working in NHS and private mental health settings. I am trained in multiple evidence based therapeutic modalities and I integrate aspects of these to suit the individual needs of each client. The main influences on individual therapy are psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT and third wave CBT approaches (CFT, ACT) and Body-Oriented Psychotherapies. I also have a keen interest in Lacanian Psychoanalysis and Intensive Short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP) as approaches.
I have undertaken specialist post-qualification training in Couples Therapy and draw on attachment theory, differentiation theory and cutting-edge neuroscience to help couples navigate common relationship challenges such as major life transitions, communication difficulties, conflict resolution and to improve intimacy and connection. I have specialist experience in the perinatal period, parenting and working with psychosexual issues.
I am registered with AXA, WPA, Vitality.
Session fees are £120 for individuals, £150 for couples, £200 for 90-minute couples sessions.
I offer free introductory calls via video to assess whether we can work together.
