Chantal Naqvi

Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor MBACP

Welcome…

In my practice I work with individual adults (18+) for short-term or open-ended therapy.

Working relationally, I draw upon psychodynamic and humanistic approaches. I am informed by existential and transpersonal therapy, with an invitation to incorporate creativity, meditation, and mindfulness practice alongside talking therapy. I work with many clients with ASD and/ or ADHD, whether diagnosed or not. As a member of BAATN I am aware of issues of power and inequality, and strive to promote anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice.

Working with me…

There might be a feeling that something isn’t quite right, but you’re not yet sure what that is. You might be seeking support for anxiety, depression, or searching to deepen your self-understanding. A first meeting is to get a sense of each other, to experience what it might be like to work together. Listening to your story, my aim is to understand you and your experience of the world, and to be alongside you as we explore what is getting in the way of a greater sense of belonging, well-being and contentment.

We may create together manageable, practical goals for you to pursue between sessions, working towards personal growth and enhancing your sense of empowerment.

I offer a free introductory phone call for you to ask any questions and to discuss what you would like from therapy. If you prefer, you can also book a first session to see if we might be a good fit and to experience how we might work together.

Sessions cost from £80. Some reduced fee sessions are available.
